InfoHive Solution is inviting applications for the role of Software Testing Engineer under its Quality Assurance and Software Validation Operations.

The role involves testing software applications, identifying defects, preparing test cases, validating functionality, coordinating with development teams, and ensuring application quality as per project and client requirements.

This is a professional software quality assurance role suitable for candidates with 3+ years of experience in manual testing, functional testing, defect tracking, test documentation, and application validation.

Responsibilities
  • Review software requirements and understand project functionality.
  • Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
  • Perform manual testing, functional testing, regression testing, and system testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools.
  • Coordinate with development teams for issue clarification and resolution.
  • Validate bug fixes and ensure application functionality meets requirements.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of web and application modules.
  • Maintain test documentation, reports, and quality records.
  • Participate in project meetings, sprint reviews, and QA discussions.
  • Prepare daily testing status reports for internal review.
  • Ensure quality standards are followed throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Support client/project teams during UAT and release validation activities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in software testing / QA.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or any relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and QA methodologies.
  • Experience in functional, regression, system, integration, and UAT testing.
  • Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
  • Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports.
  • Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries will be an added advantage.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work with development, QA, and project teams.
